The Eastbourne Forman IT Eagles have been starved of race action due to the dreadful spring weather.

The team has suffered three rain-offs and fans have yet to see this year’s team in competitive action.

Weather permitting, that should end this week.

Friday (April 13), it is one of the longer away days with the trek to south Devon to face Plymouth in the National Trophy, where former Eagle, Mattie Bates, is team manager.

Then it is back to Arlington for Saturday night action against Buxton in the National League before another road trip the next day to face the Coventry Bees in the league.

Coventry are riding their matches this season at Leicester’s stadium.

We will bring you more news later in the week in the build-up to these matches.
